Soroptimist’s Dream It, Be It
Career Support for Girls helps girls grow up to be strong, successful, happy adults. The program provides local girls with access to professional role models, career education and the resources to live their dreams.
This career workshop is *FREE* and is open to girls in in the Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls/Hayden area in grades 9 through 12. Workshop materials, door prizes and lunch will be provided.
During this program young women will learn about a variety of career paths from our diverse membership. Our local Soroptimists represent decades of direct work experience in areas such as law & law enforcement, health care, engineering, and business and accounting. In addition to open discussion of various career fields, exercises related to setting and achieving goals, overcoming obstacles to success, and moving forward after setbacks will also be covered.
