Why is it important?
- 1 in 7 people entering the hospital will need blood
- Every 2 seconds, someone in the US needs blood
- 30,000 volunteers are needed daily to ensure an adequate blood supply nationwide.
Who is eligible?
Anyone 16 or older, under 18, requires parental consent. Must be over 110lbs and in good health.
First time donating?
No worries, Vitalant will provide all the information you need to make you comfortable and confident in your decision.
